The new story takes place between RoboCop 2 and 3 and sees the titular half-robot, half-man police officer tackling crime in the city of Detroit.
Players have the freedom to explore the city's open-world sections to uncover clues and investigate crime however they choose. The Yakuza, or Like a Dragon, franchise can be complex for new starters given the number of main games and spin-offs that make the lore a little tricky to navigate. Although the mainline entries have moved onto a new protagonist, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name brings back the old protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu after he'd faked his death at the end of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In this upcoming release, his identity has been uncovered so he's forced back for one final mission.
Like a Dragon Gaiden brings a fresh twist to the traditional beat 'em up gameplay by introducing a new fighting style. Players can dynamically switch between the classic Yakuza melee combat and the new gadget-orientated Agent style. With the latter, players can make use of high-tech equipment, such as electrifying bind wires, to approach combat in a new way that makes this upcoming installment a very exciting one for fans.
3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Gaming's most popular FPS franchise has come under some scrutiny since it was revealed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was originally intended to be DLC for the previous game. It does bring with it a new campaign, though, which directly continues from the ending of the last game with Captain Price and his team tracking down the ultranationalist war criminal, Vladimir Makarov. Modern Warfare 3 will also see the return of the beloved zombie mode, so it seems there will be plenty of new content to keep fans happy.
The massively popular multiplayer modes are leaning heavily on nostalgia by modernizing all 16 launch maps from 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and adding in several new game modes. New 6v6 maps have also been promised as post-launch content. Several fan-favorite features, such as the classic minimap, map voting, and the silent movement perk also all make their return.
2 Super Mario RPG

Super Mario fans have had an incredible ending to 2023. With Super Mario Bros. Wonder releasing to huge critical acclaim in October and Super Mario RPG releasing in November, it's a great time to be a fan of the iconic Italian plumber. Super Mario RPG is a remake of the 1996 SNES turn-based adventure, bringing with it a few new tweaks to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting for a modern audience.
Super Mario RPG's latest trailer highlighted several of these new features. These include a bigger emphasis on timed player inputs to determine the effectiveness of certain moves, as well as the addition of new super move combos. The game also allows players to return to boss fights after completing the main story, ramping up the difficulty to offer a real challenge and a high level of replayability.
